So many dicks

SO
MANY
DICKS

SO FEW OF
EVERYONE ELSE

Turns out there are more men named Dick (Richard, Rich, and Rick) on corporate boards than entire groups of underrepresented people.

BUT WAIT…WHAT THE E.L.F. IS A BOARD OF DIRECTORS?

Not sure what a board is or why it matters? That’s cool, most people aren’t sure either.
Board 101
Diversity stats
There are 2x more men named Dick than Hispanic women. Black women and Asian women barely outnumber men named Dick. There are 19x more men named Dick than women of Middle Eastern descent. And there are only 3 Native American women serving on these boards.
Diversity creates profitability for everyone. Even dicks.
We’re out to change all that because boards with more gender diversity are 27% more likely to outperform less gender diverse boards. And boards with more people of color are 13% more likely to outperform less diverse boards.

e.l.f.’s DIVERSITY DATABASE

If a company is publicly traded, you can see who sits on its board and how well it reflects the world.
Diversity database

Meet our Board of Directors.

e.l.f. stands for every eye, lip and face–that means in our boardroom, too. Out of 4,200 publicly traded U.S. companies,
e.l.f. is only 1 of 4 to have a board that is two-thirds women and one-third diverse.

Not only that, we even have our very own “Dick” (Richard) who is e.l.f.ing amazing.
Because it’s not about excluding anyone, it’s about including EVERYONE.
