e.l.f. Beauty partnered with activist and Rise founder Amanda Nguyen for the sixth annual Rise Fashion Show at New York Fashion Week.
The partnership reflects e.l.f.'s ethos of seeking fellow bold disruptors with a kind heart.
The fashion show builds on a multi-faceted, ongoing relationship with Nguyen that began with her "Show Yourse.l.f." episode and continued at the United Nations and with her April 2025 flight aboard Blue Origin's NS-31 as the first Vietnamese woman to reach space.
Activist and Rise founder Amanda Nguyen is leading a movement to give voice, platform and literal runway to women who both demand and deserve to be seen: survivors and allies of sexual assault. Her fashion show, which just celebrated its sixth annual iteration, posed the question: "What do dreams cost?”. It was a deeply moving and powerful evening centered around Amanda’s story of putting her dreams aside of being an astronaut to fight for justice.
One of the most common barriers that the show highlights is sexual violence and the high cost endured by survivors. According to a study published by the Center for Disease Control, the estimated lifetime cost of rape stands at $122,461 per victim, or a population economic burden of $3.1 trillion.¹

Role models such as actress Ashley Judd, Olympic Gold Medalist Jacqueline Dubrovich, and Broadway singer and star, Arielle Jacobs walked the show. Models showcased looks by Bach Mai, Gasanova, Kim Shui, Kelsey Randall, La Double J., M.M. LaFleur, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Self-Adore, Tanya Taylor, Veronica Beard, Vestiaire Collective, and Vince.
This moment built on a multi-faceted and ongoing partnership with Nguyen to elevate survivors and inspire the next generation of empowered women. Our work together began with an episode in our documentary-style, short-film series “Show Yourse.l.f.” Nguyen’s episode spotlighted her survivor- rights advocacy, legislative work, and her personal expansion into action across culture and science. e.l.f. partnered with Amanda for a historic event at the United Nations in February 2025, honoring the 10th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science. In April 2025, aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard (NS-31) with Space for Humanity, the first all-female commercial mission took flight and Nguyen became the first Vietnamese woman to reach space.
