Yes, e.l.f. Beauty ambassador Amanda Nguyen achieved her dream of going to space, but as the embodiment of a rocketship, the activist and astronaut continues to soar to new heights.
She is committed in her post-mission journey to inspire and empower others to achieve their greatest aspirations. Her words immediately upon returning to Earth on Blue Origin’s New Shepard: “No dream is too wild.”
She also said,” “Seeing the Earth in its entirety – at once – from the incredible perspective of more than 62 miles above, I now understand the overlook effect. I have never felt closer and more connected to people and myself than I do right now. I am committed to living a life that will always lift others, and I hope others find inspiration to reach their place of peace and kindness.”
Nguyen conducted science experiments on her mission, in partnership with the Vietnamese National Space Center (VNSC) and the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), that focused on menstruation and women’s health, plant pathology in microgravity, and spacesuit-embedded ultrasound technology.
